Eva Elmore was born and raised in the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area. After attending UNC-Chapel Hill and graduating in 1981, she returned to the coast and began a career in the insurance industry in a family business. In 1984 she became involved in real estate sales and development in Wrightsville Beach with her family. In 1985, realizing she had an affinity for real estate and a true knowledge of the Wilmington area, she chose to affiliate with Intracoastal Realty, "Wilmington's premier residential real estate company". She never left, finding a true home at Intracoastal.
