Vance Bondurant Young, a 43 year old native of Wilson, NC, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in history. He worked as a licensed financial consultant with Merrill Lynch receiving his training in Manhattan and later at the Princeton Corporate Campus. In his first year of production, he was honored by recognition into Merrill Lynch's Executive Circle. In 1988, Vance pursued a lifelong dream of moving to Wilmington, NC and joined the emerging sales team of Landfall, a gated 2,200 acre community located on the Intracoastal Waterway within biking distance of Wrightsville Beach. Vance and his wife, Porter Eskridge, built their home in Landfall and enjoy raising their three children in this beautiful community featuring 45 holes of golf by Nicklaus and Pete Dye and one of the finest Sports Centers (including grass tennis courts) designed by Landfall resident Cliff Drysdale. In March of 2000, Vance joined the sales team of Intracoastal Realty. With 200 agents and nearly $1.4 billion in production, Intracoastal is the area's market leader - particularly in the high-end markets of Landfall, Figure Eight Island and Wrightsville Beach. Vance was recognized as Intracoastal's Top Producer in 2002 with $46 million in sales and again in 2003 with 56 million and 2004 with 84 million in sales. Vance enjoys his relationships with his clients, as well as the thrill of meeting new people and finding just the right property for them. Vance specializes in waterfront properties in the coastal communities of Landfall, Figure Eight and Wrightsville Beach. His clientele include current and former CEO's and families from the major metropolitan markets of Washington, New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago.
